What Is Collected, and Why
When You Book Through WhatsApp
The booking button opens a WhatsApp conversation with a pre-written message. Sophie then receives your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name and the content of your message: the treatment, location and time slot you chose. This information is used solely to arrange and confirm the appointment.
When You Call or Send an Email
Sophie keeps the contact details you provide, for as long as needed to reply and follow up on the appointment.
When You Simply Browse the Site
The host records technical connection logs (IP address, date, page viewed) for security purposes. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools.
Legal Basis
- Your request: by writing to Sophie you are asking for a service. Processing is based on pre-contractual steps, then on carrying out the appointment.
- Accounting obligations, for invoices.
- The host's legitimate interest, for site security.
How Long
- WhatsApp messages, emails and contact details: 12 months after the last contact.
- Invoices: 10 years, as required by law.
- Host connection logs: 12 months.
Who Else Has Access
Your information is never sold, exchanged or used for advertising. The only third parties involved are:
- o2switch (Clermont-Ferrand, France): website hosting. Data stored in France.
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited: delivery of booking messages.
- Gmail / Google Ireland Limited: email service, for exchanges by email.
Transfers Outside the European Union
When you book through WhatsApp, your message passes through Meta servers, some of which are located in the United States. This transfer is covered by the European Commission standard contractual clauses and by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Meta adheres.
The content of your WhatsApp messages is end-to-end encrypted: Meta cannot read it. Meta does, however, know your number and that the exchange took place.
When you write by email, your message is hosted by Google (Gmail), which may process it in the United States. This transfer is covered in the same way: standard contractual clauses and the Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres.

Your Rights
At any time you may ask to see your information, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object to its processing, or receive a copy. Write to instantzenshiatsu@gmail.com or call +33 6 66 45 40 35. Sophie replies within one month.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
Professional Confidentiality
Anything you share with Sophie Combeau during a session remains confidential. Nothing is recorded in any software, and nothing is shared.
