Traditional Shiatsu
Adults · pregnancyOn a tatami mat, in loose clothing: no need to undress. The first session runs a little longer so we can talk through what you are looking for.
Sophie Combeau, a qualified shiatsu practitioner, welcomes you to her studio in Cogolin or comes to you: at your villa, your hotel or on board your yacht.
Shiatsu specialist title (Icho school, Biot), recognised by the French professional shiatsu union.
Every session starts by listening: what you expect, your pace, what makes you feel good.

A Japanese hands-on art: thumb and palm pressure and gentle stretches along the meridians. Deep relaxation, and a way to look after yourself over time.

On a tatami mat, in loose clothing: no need to undress. The first session runs a little longer so we can talk through what you are looking for.
A gentle session adapted to children, for a moment of calm. Especially welcome during times of change: back to school, moving house.
Seated on an ergonomic chair, fully clothed: back, neck, shoulders, arms and scalp. A real break in 20 minutes, at the office or during an event.
Pressure and smoothing on the reflex zones of the feet, hands or face. Deep relaxation for body and mind.

Lying down, fully clothed, with only your feet uncovered. Sophie works zone by zone, from the sole to the top of the foot and up to the ankle. One hour, eyes closed.
The same approach as for the feet, applied to the hands and wrists. Thirty minutes, fully clothed — the shortest format, the one that fits into a busy day.
Face, skull, neck and scalp, with the fingertips. An enveloping treatment for everything that tightens without your noticing: the jaw, the temples, the forehead.
Relaxing or invigorating, always tailored to you. At the studio, or at your place.

Head to toe: long strokes, kneading, pressure and stretches. Choose your oil: relaxing, energising, purifying, moisturising or nourishing.
Kobido, Japan’s “traditional way of beauty”, and paired treatments to make the moment last.

The Japanese face massage, learnt in Paris at the Miki School. Smoothing, sculpting and draining, from the décolleté to the scalp. A brighter complexion and rested features — no devices, no injections.
Two treatments in a single session: hands and feet, or Kobido followed by scalp shiatsu. Seventy-five minutes — for taking the time instead of having to choose.

Shiatsu is a passion of mine, born of years spent seeking harmony and serenity.
First trained in Zen Shiatsu, I went on to specialise in Koho Shiatsu, a practice rooted in listening and close attention to the body. Over the years I have added reflexology, Thai massage and Kobido.
Bound by the profession’s code of ethics. Shiatsu is a wellbeing practice: it does not replace medical advice.
“Sophie Combeau is a highly professional massage therapist. Her empathy and the way she listens bring real value to the session. Thanks to her attentive approach, it isn’t just a massage but a moment that completely changes you. Highly recommended.”
“Brilliant! Thank you, Sophie, for introducing me to shiatsu. […] For me this practice is far more interesting than a simple massage: body and mind both get to relax. I loved it! Done with great kindness and care. I also tried a full-body oil massage, very pleasant and relaxing. A place not to be missed, and one to come back to.”
“Having had many massages in different countries, it was a joy to receive a massage from Sophie’s expert hands. I recommend her without hesitation. Thank you, Sophie, for this relaxing moment!”
“A wonderful first experience of Kobido: a rested, plumped face, like a fresh youthfulness. The scalp massage on shiatsu points gave me deep relaxation and let my mind unwind. Thank you, Sophie, for this wonderful treatment. See you very soon.”
